Designed during my design studies, Sweet Retreat is a concept candy store and ice-cream parlor for expats. In addition to the candy displays and parlor area, workshops can be carried out in a well-equipped kitchen with a flexible zone that can be easily converted to accommodate sweet tasting parties for young and old. Sweet Retreat combines modern elements with vintage design to create a slightly nostalgic environment. With a focus on the ‘world family’, Sweet Retreat incorporates fair trade products and green design.  At Sweet Retreat, visitors can treat themselves to candy with a heart.
